YES --- If 2 guys who are not professional auto engineers can modify a car to get over 100mpg, why aren't the car makers giving us 150mpg cars or at least with equal performance?

They are capable of making fuel efficient cars, but choose not to do so. The Republicans also deserve a lot of blame in this regard. Instead of giving tax breaks to automakers in order to finance the development of fuel efficient cars, the Republicans pour money into ethanol produced from corn. This increased oil consumption by providing a disincentive for efficient cars, and it interrupted food supplies by driving up prices for corn. Ultimately, the problem boils down to incompetent businessmen and corrupt politicians.

and said : Alright, I took the bait. I'm a pretty computer savvy guy. I dumped Windoze for Mac after experiencing OS X for a week. I dumped Micro$soft because, yes, my Mac just works! I no longer maintain my computer, I don't worry about viruses, when I set up a web server, it works exactly as promised. When I use Apple software, it works exactly as promised. FWIW, those personality traits that the study found correlate better with wealth than with Mac use, and we Mac users tend to be wealthier than the average Windoze user.

and said : It remains to be seen whether this treatment will overwhelm the psychological factors that drive people to do drugs in the first place. Other questions that loom large have to do with the drug industry's response to these vaccines (maybe they will sell new drugs) and the government's response. Don't forget that the war on drugs is a very popular (though utterly ineffective) government program. Will the feds want to give up all this power? Will the cocaine cartel start blowing up addiction vaccination clinics? This could get interesting. :)
