It is OK as long as the animal does not suffer and the research can be shown to have possible benefits

and said : I don't find it acceptable for guys to sleep around any more than I do for girls to. As for society, I don't think they exactly smile upon guys who do, either. I think if any imbalance occurs between the image of men who sleep around versus women who do, it probably stems from some sort of general perception that women are supposed to be better at controlling themselves.

and said : Ummm...it's not necessary to fight terrorism. And it doesn't go way overboard. And I do care. I don't think this bill is that bad. Kind of redundant, as the United States has already put restrictions on such speech (I think it was Schenk v. United States that established the clear and present danger standard). And it's not really going to affect me as I don't advocate violence as a political tool. I don't think this really gets rid of thought unapproved by the state, either. It doesn't get rid of thought at all actually, you can think it all you want. Just don't try to organize violence to get your policy agenda noticed. Protest, vote, write, anything but violence.
