and said : I can understand why they were disgruntled by the loss. With this election people became extremely passionate about who they wanted to win and why so i can see why the McCain supporters were so disappointed when he lost. Im sure the Obama supporters would be just as disappointed if he had lost instead of McCain. However it was sad to see that they couldn't show the same civility in the loss that McCain did, but I guess every race has its share of sore losers.

If two people of the same sex are in love and wish to be wed then let them, it has absolutely NO effect on anyone else but themselves. Wasn't this country created to give people the freedom to be who they truly are without prosecution? Yet here we are voting on weather or not to take away someones right to ' pursue happiness' in marriage.

No- it doesn't make a difference at all.
and said : They're willing to put their lives on the line to protect and serve our country so why does it matter what their sexual orientation is. If a gay/lesbian person risks their life to protect a fellow soldier in the line of fire does it make them any less of a hero just because of what they are? The answer is no and although it's a good thing that they're not discharging as many gay/lesbian soldiers as they use to, its sad that they're still doing it.
