and said : Based on what criteria? Do you mean Christians, or Religious Organizations? I am a follower of Christ and His teachings, which state "what you do to the least of these (my fellow humans), you do to me". I absolutely do not hate the poor. I've worked for and donated my time to social service organizations. I don't judge people by their clothes, their cars, their neighborhood, their skin color, etc. I am not a follower of any particular religion, as I have not found ONE that puts Christ's ideas to work. But, if you're wondering why the large mega-churches don't do more for their fellow man, perhaps it's because they are pre-occupied working on their "stairway to Heaven".

and said : I hate to see any innocent, peaceful citizens killed as collateral damage between two warring factions. Brings to mind the picture of the naked Vietnamese girl running down the street after a bombing. On the other hand, maybe if they do it the rest of the world will see how horribly futile nuclear war is, and we can get rid of all the armaments. Fat chance though. Or, to put it into an "American" perspective...

Now there taking TV away from the poor
and said : I don't understand why, if it is so great, that it took an act of Congress to make it required BY LAW. If you listen closely, or research on your own, it is only required by "high-powered" stations, whatever that means. I also find it interesting that the gov't will send you a coupon, which comes in the form of a plastic "credit card", for a discount on the purchase. Now they have your information (name, address, etc.) on their database. I'm waiting till the last moment to see what really happens.

and said : ....it's a shame. The only way our administration can get the cooperation of it's citizens is through intimidation. I wonder how it would fly once they gained prosecution. Would the MUDia cover it? It certainly would be news worthy. Me, I'm not too concerned. I have nothing they can take. I don't own property, I have no "savings or checking account". I have worked for many years to get off the grid. It is easier, and harder, than most would think. It is also worth the effort (in no junk mail alone). I can protest a "war" because I am given the freedom to do so by the Constitution. However, being a Constitutional supporter can also get you classified as being a domestic terrorist. and said : Someday, perhaps, the rest of the country will come to learn the truth about the South. I have posted a couple of questions on this same subject, and had the inevitable racist rantings from my neighbors up North. They seem to forget that many African-American Southerners embrace the Flag as their own. It's alright though, I know the truth.

and said : Well, Sir Jim, I wasn't sure where you were going with this, but the phrasing of the question intrigued me, and appears to be inadvertently humorous. Now that I have opened the page, I also see an ad for Abortion On Demand, and a link to sign a petition. I'm not all for that either, but I'm just not going to click on it. Remember, we are not to judge others. We are to witness by our acts and deeds, and not by our words. Words are empty vessels. Bashing other's lifestyles was clearly addressed in "the lady at the well", if you'll remember. And let he who is without sin cast the first stone. While I wonder why a particular ad, as a cartoon of what appears to be two lesbians kissing, does not violate SodaHeads own TOS for "porn", it is not for me to judge. It doesn't affect my faith, or my relationships/witnessing towards my fellow humans being. Your intentions may be well founded, but your method perhaps needs a little work. Happy Holidays!
