and said : not really a matter of belief. while it's always a plus to have moral values - something i think religion can provide on a good day, i like sen. obama because of his stance on issues that matter to me. i already knew this guy was a patriot. he works hard for our country.

we, the people, need to get back on track.
and said : readiness to wage a war(or lack of it) is not the same as foreign relations. nor should it be the sole basis for any foreign policy that is to succeed. the military has always been a necessary evil, but it isn't the be all and end all that some "leaders" would have us believe. nor is military action the right answer for any situation. it is not acceptable to neglect our people and encourage divisiveness abroad. business in america should always depend on providing a good product for a fair price to people who can afford to purchase it. that may sound idealistic to some, and overly simplistic to others, but it does work. fair and living wages are a key element of any thriving economy. the new(er) elephant in the room we are seeing is the (increasing) rise of corporations that rely heavily on government connections and contracts - and especially when it relates to the military-industrial complex. that has only been good for america on a short term basis -if at all- and then only to a select few,in the long run. the majority of government contractors are a drain on the economy, because they rely on tax dollars. free enterprise should be just that, and not dependant (either solely or majorly) on the government for the purchase of it's products nor services. my "name" is motvet, and i stand by this message.

and said : not sure where that figure came from, and it seems to be proving popular support for mcbush's deceptions. here's the thing, mcbush is very much like bush, and even moreso in areas like military action. raygun was militant, global; bush sr. was supposedly "kinder, gentler"; bush jr. was stupider, brasher and mcbush will likely be more militant, deadlier. are we forgetting how much mcbush and raygun got along? corporate america: the republican playground.
