and said : It is simple, once conception happens the human life begins. When the sperm and egg join the human life begins. This is so simple as to when a human life begins. The stages of development prior to coming out of the womb are stages of human life. This is not a religious view it is simply a fact that human life begins at conception. I give you the Hippocratic Oath translated from Greek. The human life begins at conception, this is a moral and ethical belief held by many people some of whom happen to be Christian, but it certainly is not a solely Christian idea. Morals and ethics come sometimes from religion and many times from Philosophy as we see from Hippocrates who obviously held moral and ethical principles and yet did so without being a Christian (imagine that). So To all you pro-choice people: the woman does NOT have any right to MURDER or DO HARM to the HUMAN LIFE just because it is in her womb. The baby maybe in her womb and the womb is hers, but the HUMAN LIFE in the womb is not owned by her and she therefore has no right to commit MURDER. Therefore anybody who believes as Hippocrates did should not be forced to go against this most precious moral value as healers. The medical profession is there to heal and not do any harm, it is amazing that in this thread there are people actually suggesting that people who want to work in the medical field and cause no harm, should avoid jobs in pharmacies or hospitals where medical people should work, because some people have it backwards and think that all medical people are suppose to assist in MURDER if a woman chooses it.... I mean really, what are we heading to, "Hi, uh I would like to get some over the counter cyanide because I want to murder my 5 year old child and he lives in my house so its my house, my choice and no one can take away my right to choose to murder my five year old in my house cause it is My House." That is so stupid, as stupid as thinking a woman has a right to murder a child in her womb because it is her womb.

and said : I do think there are Biblically defined roles for a Husband and Wife, but a Woman's "place" is much more than in the Kitchen and a Man's place is much more than "bringing home the bacon" Those are very narrow views and not Biblical at all. It would take a while to go through all the scripture that defines the God given purposes for a Husband and a Wife. Trying to summarize it here will not do it justice it needs to be studied by a person in prayer with God and His Word. The only reason I am undecided here is because I cannot say based on how the question is worded that it is how God intended it.

No, it's an very accurate reflection of people's beliefs.

Democrats in my biased honest opinion just seem to dislike hearing Conservatives express their views at any level. Any person who expresses a conservative view is called a racist, biased and closed minded. For example, Fox News is in no way crooked. This myth spread by haters of anything conservative is a joke. Fox is fair and balanced. The Fox News broadcasters never voice an opinion and the commentator shows are just that to make comments. Hannity and Colmes is a fair balance between two polarized men and Bill Orielly is mostly in the middle (maybe slightly right of center) Orielly has been accused by liberals of being conservative and conservatives as being a liberal. If you want to see a truly biased station, watch MSNBC.

A combination of both, I think.
and said : I learned both. I went to a public school until 2nd grade. Then I moved to a Catholic school for 3rd grade. If my memory is right I learned the thanking pilgrims one in public and the thanking God in the catholic school and I think at some point I learned it was for both reasons. You know also they most definitely did not have the foods we have in what we call a traditional turkey day. The tradition did not come from what they ate. They probably had phesant, corn, rabbit.... I am not sure where the tradition of Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and the various pies started, anyone know?

and said : Yes I would turn them into the police for two reasons: 1. Because the committed a crime and it is the right thing to do. 2. To keep them safe from me because If my teenage children ever did anything so dumb as that I would want to slap them so hard upside the head and ask them "what the heck were you thinking?" It would also keep me from getting arrested for beating my kids. I would never beat my kids, but if they did something like this I might wanna kill em.

and said : It would show that Obama does intend to reach across party lines and do what he thinks is right for the country as opposed to being partisan. Had McCain been elected I would have had no doubt that there would be a position for Lieberman and a few positions would have been given to democrats.

and said : I do think the majority of those officers were protecting that guy from getting torn apart. The one that got physical with him and lost his cool a little may have supported Obama or was irritated that this kid did not get he was being protected . The police obviously just wanted him to leave. They would rather have him leave or arrest him than allow him to stay and then end up arresting hundreds of Obamaites for assault. I do not think the police were hauling him away for the shirt, but to prevent filling their jails with Obama supporters who would have assaulted this guy. Even if it was a public celebration the police had a choice. They either had to suppress this guys freedom of speech at this particular event or let him express his freedom of speech, get his ass kicked, and then arrest a few hundred Obama supporters, which would initiate a bigger riot, and a few thousand arrests and a long hard night. This was riot and "headache" control on the police part. The police do have a responsibility to remove an element from a situation that they perceive is going to cause a lot of harm or a riot. This was not suppression of freedom of speech.

I never thought my income would get increased because the government was gonna take from the wealthy and just give it to me. and said : The most ridiculous statement I have heard since the election of Obama is a few democrats who have said that now that the Republicans have lost they are looking at how they can get power back. These people have stated we need to unify under the president for the good of the country.... What .....?!?! where was this attitude back in 2000 and 2004.... and Republicans are only out for power.... and democrats are not? The democrats have spent the last 8 years planning taking power back. Democrats said the same thing after they lost control of Congress in 1994 and the presidency in 2000. So now that they succeeded, now they call for unifying for the good of the country? oh please. This whole concept is the most ridiculous thing I have been hearing since the election. If McCain won you can be sure these same people would not be calling for unifying. In fact I will ask that question.

and said : Marrigae is already defined and needs not be changed. It is and has always been that marriage is between man and woman. No society has ever sanctioned or defined marriage for same genders. People are divided on whether to change the definition or not. Although I disagree completely with even a "civil union" I bet most of those people who voted for a gay marriage ban would vote in favor of civil unions that legally have all the rights of a marriage. I would oppose this as well, but I think most Americans would support civil unions with the same rights as marriage but leave marriage defined as man and woman. After all a same gender union is not the same as a marriage by definition. The only way same gender unions can be argued the same thing as a marriage is if you change the definition of marriage and people do not want that change.
