and said : Obama will turn things around, but not how most of us think. His true economic ideals never came out during the election. Change is on the horizon, but the beauty is that he never explained what that was.
Read what he has planned on www.change.gov. Funny enough, a lot of what he has planned is right down the same ally as what Bush has done for the last eight years. Good economics is not difficult. After taking one college level economics class I could understand how "our" politicians are the ones destroying the economy. But the question is why?

Hell no. That's entirely unconstitutional. What happened to America?
and said : American citizens armed and trained will be the best defense against an enemy once on American soil. Vietnam was an excellent example of how a group of people, relatively untrained, lacking in weapon sophistication, and determined, could kick the trash of one of the most powerful countries on earth. I would like to see how they do getting though the Texas plains, or the snowy Utah mountains. You screw with our families, the only repercussion is death.
The biggest concern is that the National Guard is controlled by the States, while a military presence is overseen by the Federal Government. While the government is created to protect "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" we have the right and obligation to protect ourselves. The Second Amendment was not initially written to protect the Country from invaders, but the People from their own government. Having a Federally controlled military among civilians is not unlike Britain's occupation of the colonies before the Revolution.
Again, let me state the difference. National Guard is State controlled. Military is Federally controlled. That much power in one groups hands is never a good thing.
and said : After looking at the domain registration process for a .gov, I wonder how far in advance he must have had this planned. I was trying to dig deeper, but the site is restricted and I had no interest in pushing my limits.
Also, I'm afraid that this will give people unwarranted hope that their voice is being heard. At a National level, he could be receiving thousands or more of emails everyday. That would take at least a staff of a few hundred to stay caught up with every email.
And why is the emptiest part of his website the "Agenda?" Obama has had many plans hammered out for months now. Why would he only give a paragraph stating, "The Obama Administration has a comprehensive and detailed agenda to carry out its policies," but not actually post more than that?
Edit: After doing some searching, I found a cache of his website at http://www.fuckthebankers.com... Take a look for yourselves, and I would like to hear why you think he immediately pulled all this information from his site.
It's bold, and it's new. That I like, but like any software worth using it needs a good trial run before anything definitive can be stated.
and said : I'm sorry to see there isn't an option for being impartial. For that reason I make a statement casting my vote. We can't forget when this motto was originally published on American currency. It began in 1957, with the "Red Scare." We were afraid of adopting Communism, and did everything we could to remove ourselves as far away from this idea.
Our Founding Fathers clearly had a belief in a Supreme Creator, by which they claimed those Rights written in the Constitution, but I believe that they felt that living in America was memory enough of the blessings they had been given. Please let us remember that the Creator defined by these wise men was not specifically the Christian God, but a Being capable of giving His creations laws and rights.
I enjoy seeing the motto, but if it were to be removed the I would feel no betrayal by my Country. If the majority speak to have it removed, then that is what needs to happen.

If Obama can show me he holds to an unwavering standard, the I will follow him to the end. If ever once I find he crosses the American people intentionally, there will be an unpaid Justice that waits like he has never known.
First, though, we must remove our personal party affiliations, and see Obama not as a Democrat, but as a man with the responsibility to represent our country. Before we can seek Unity this must happen. I can't blame hypocrisy on anyone, for we have all been too intentionally divided by those who seek power. Being divided gives power to a few. Uniting will give power to us all.

These ideologies will begin to slowly creep into America if the changes are allowed, which eventually could destroy the democracy that our Forefathers fought for.
John S. McCain has repeatedly changed his opinion over a variety of issues, and to this end I believe so he can be elected. The welfare of the people, I believe, does not exist within him.
