She was being protective of her daughter. Not a racist.
and said : She has a right to act on behalf of her daughter in asking for a race of a cab driver. she was not on the job, so the BBC firing her for something done while not at work is not right, and she should fight back about that. What is it with these companies firing people for things the person does on their own personal time? If also heard of high school kids being expelled for things the kids do while not at school, school functions, or on school grounds. IS THE WORLD GOING INSANE??

Bush could not prevent a Democratic Congress from acting they way they did.
and said : I just had this exact conversation with a lady at work. She said the low gas prices is Bush's doing to make himself look good on his way out of office..... My answer was "Yeah, right... I should've known. It's always bush's fault" (Cynically)

No, I think Text Guard is a good program to watch what my kid is doing.

Some of that is true, but more often than not, it's because parents today don't have the tools to keep an eye on their kids using advanced electronics, or they are electronically illiterate. First, parents need access to the tools. Second, they need training to use them.

Yes
and said : The Founding Fathers setup the Electoral College system mainly because of communication problems, and it was so time consuming to do the popular voting system. But things have changed, communication is far better thanks to the Internet (Thank you Al Gore!). So I think the people's choice should be the deciding factor, not some electoral goon who is probably voting their personal choice instead of the popular choice, or getting a kick-back for voting a certain way. I just don't trust the Electoral College voting system.

After a bad guy shoots me, can I sue the government for taking away my right to have a gun for protection? I can see all the lawsuits and court costs coming behind that great idea (yeah right!). and said : My Mother. She had it when I was 8 yrs old. She got the same procedure done as Applegate, and hasn't had a problem with it since.
