and said : Religion and politics should be two separate matters. I assume you chose Iran because of the hatred you would incite amongst the Christian believers to rave you, why not Indonesia, or Somalia or any other predominately Muslim country who actually practise Sharia law? Did you ever think why most Mexicans are Catholics? Why they speak Spanish? And not the traditional languages? The crusades, Christianity crusades, played a major part in that. Did you ever think that if the Mayflower sank, or the Aztects were never "civilised" that North America may still be living in the "Dark Ages". The one thing these people had was enlightenment, which is a lot more than people can claim to today.

It's just the way it is
and said : If raves were counted in groups, who's not to say that you could have a rave party everyday in your own private group? You could make a group of two people and create shite entries for each other and rave away until the cows came home... I just use raves as good quality comments, or something I agree with, not necessarily a status symbol.

and said : It's the Boxing Day sales here that drive people insane. I did see this on the news tho, they were interviewing people, asking that if it wasn't on sale could they afford it. YES I have a "Guilty Pleasure" or two!
and said : The bloke I work with, not for much longer thankfully, tries to be a smart arse, and tunes the radio to ABC Classic, the national classical fm station. Little does he know, I am quite the fan of a lot of classical musicians, having attended numerous concerts throughout my years. It makes for a pleasant change from the top 40 shlock being repeated on the commercial stations. Not to mention the inane chatter they drivel.

This is a funny story...
and said : The (mental) picture alone of you in your undies covered in ice is enough for me... lol Two year ago, I was making a pea and ham soup on a good friday, (yes I know it's early/late in the year to be making soup, but I had cravings!) Being hungover and lazy I decided I would chop the onion on my mandolin, the onion was an awkward shape, so I thought, " A few slices will be fine without the guard, just to even out the bottom". Oh how wrong was I! I ended up taking off the top of my pinky finger, about 3/4's of the way down the nail. Being Good Friday, nothing is open, so off to hospital I go. Four hours later, waiting in emergency, I get asked if I bought it with me. The finger that is. No, I replied. I got patched up, by a very competent, and sexy, I might add, nurse, who proceeded to tell me... " If you had of cut another 2millimeters deeper, I would be hitting bone, and vital nerves. Yet you have very sharp implements, which made for a nice clean cut." Proud as I am of my kitchen utensils, I could do nothing but blush. My finger has grown back, and has served me a warning. Never make hearty soups too early in the season!
