and said : If there was a way to make up for what was did to them as a people, I am for it. I can only imagine what it is like not to know where you came from and to be made to feel inferior. But that being said they have come a long way and I commend them for their effort at rebuilding a sense of who they are. I know that during the sixty's there was a lot of resistance to their liberation but things have improved drastically, and I would like to think that we as white Americans have played some part in that reconstructon of their dignity, with our acknowledgment of equal treatment to all American citizens. If not widely atleast individually. We are all Americans at this point and I am truly honored that we have mended some fences.
