I didn't read the 9/11 Commission report and don't feel comfortable answering this.
and said : I haven't read the report but I know that there are a lot of respectable people, ie, college physics and engineering professors who have voiced similar complaints. I've heard a lot of compelling arguments and discrepancies of what happened. An interesting one that comes to mind is the statements made by a 30 year veteran FAA air traffic controller. Although not working on the day of the attacks, he says that as soon as an airplane is suspected of being hijacked, ie its transponder is turned off or make a big course changed, fighter jets should have been scrambled immediately. The only way they wouldn't have, as he says, is if there was some major unprecedented protocol implemented that day. Just weird to me. I would like to know as much as possible about the tragic incident and will not blindly accept some pundit's notion that seeking the truth is a virus.
