Here's what I think.
and said : I usually just went home and got some sleep at the end of those days. With that said, I'm older now and just don't have the heart to take my aggravation out on the world. I've since learned to deal with those who piss me off by giving them the thumbs up and a great big smile.

I love the cold
and said : It's not that I love the cold. I work outdoors and while I can always put more clothes on in the winter our humidity in the summer is rough. I guess what is hot or cold is relative to what we are accustomed to dealing with. But I'll take a wind chill of 16 degrees over a heat index of 116 any day. That's about the greatest of extremes in Virginia.

and said : In Rep. Anna Eshoo's defense at least she is willing to impose it across the board instead of only applying it to select areas. With that said, it is the whole concept of "public airwaves" that I think is at the base of this problem. Radio stations do not have their businesses supplied to them. Licenses and the purchase and maintenance of their equipment is paid for out of their own pockets and at the end of the day it is their ability to sell advertising that decides whether they succeed or fail. Not being publicly financed I cannot see any justification for applying the "fairness doctrine". I recall hearing once of someone on the street (CNN I think) asking people if they thought that Congress should continue financing NPR. One man actually said "yes, because otherwise the taxpayers would have to pay for it". Wow.

No, men are not wired differently
and said : At the base I think a natural desire to "spread their seed" exist within men. That's no excuse for those who cannot practice the degree of self control required to keep one's body to one's self but I think that is the root cause. I'd be suspicious of anyone who says things like "after all, we're just animals". Sometimes human beings tend to act like lesser primates. I think a similar root cause exist in women who seek men who have solid careers and make very good money. It sounds shallow but in fact I think that is rooted in a natural desire for the most viable mate. Physical strength doesn't quite do it in a more advanced species. That's just some silly thoughts I've had. And what's with the down raves on this question anyway?

and said : I hear their arguments for these bailouts and to some degree they make sense. With that said, none of this creates solutions for the problems we face. The poorly managed unprofitable businesses will remain poorly managed and ultimately unprofitable. People who have made irresponsible decisions will continue to make irresponsible decisions. These actions by our government undermine our evolution.

and said : My understand that on the same day that the Obama's purchased their home in Chicago for 300k below market value the adjoining was purchased by Rezko at full price from the same owner. At a later date the Obama's were sold half of Rezko's lot rendering the vacant lot "unbuildable" and thus essentially granting Obama a two lot home at a steeply discounted price. This Rezko being known for being involved in corruption. I need more information but if this is true this would be the biggest controversy in my mind.

It's up to Federal Courts to interpret the Constitution.
and said : Ultimately, it is up to The Supreme Court and the people. With that said, I believe it is absolutely essential that we all at very least try to understand The Constitution and bear in mind what was the original intent of the authors of it's various amendments to better understand it's application. It is critical that all hold legislators accountable for understanding and obeying our federal government's legal framework. It's these "interpretations" made by the court's lifetime appointees that make our selections for President so critical. We've got some interesting years ahead of us. Or so I think.

and said : Seats 5 people. Or 8 naked people. A friend of mine was really quite good at talking other people's girlfriends out of their clothes. Not for sex, just nudity for nudity's sake. One night while drinking and other things we got the idea, or he got the idea that we should all pile into my car and go some place first thing in the morning (6:30ish) and just run around naked. So I knew a place where we could access the interstate behind a 20' tall sound barrier. So we all get there and strip down and I decided to peek around the wall first and what do I see but a Va state trooper with someone pulled over on the road side. We just ducked back and waited for him to pull away and then we all ran down to the roadside. I didn't know 18 wheelers could be driven from the passenger side until that morning. Then we all ran back to the car and took off. When we returned to the apartment complex we found that the neighbors were waking up and needless to say there were about 10 witnesses to the 8 people still in various states of undress running into the apartment.
